How do I access the second function of top buttons related to blue prints?

Push and hold the button on the left side until you see the + button flash.

How do I adjust the brightness?

In 2ndF mode, use the period + or – to increase or decrease the brightness
OR
Open the Gametime Scoreboard free App and go into MENU / SETTINGS / LED Brightness

How do I access the CLOCK mode?

Clock mode will display by itself after unit has not been touched for 30 minutes. If the unit is plugged in, the clock mode will remain until you want to use the scoreboard. If the unit is being used on battery mode, the clock will turn off after 1 hour if the unit have not been used.

How do I use the microphone function?

You can connect with the microphone in two ways:
1. Plug a microphone in the Mic Jack on the side panel of the unit
2. Use the Mic function of the Gametime Scoreboard free App

How do I change the sound effects?

Go to the sound effect page on the Gametime App and you can upload your own sound effects by pressing the file icon. You will then be able to upload or record your own sound effect.

How do I turn off the sound effects?

You can select Sound effects on, Buzzer only or silent mode two ways:
1. In 2ndF mode press sound effects twice
2. In the sound effects page in the Gametime Scoreboard App, you can select your favourite option.

How do I play music on my Gametime?

There are three easy ways of playing music with your Gametime Scoreboard. They are:
1. Use a male to male 3.5 Headphone cord, plug it in your device and plug it in the 3.5" port on the side panel of the Gametime unit. Plug & play.
2. Connect your Gametime app to the unit and go to the MUSIC function
3. Plug in a music loaded USB in the side panel of your Gametime unit and use the top music control for full control.

How do I stream music from my mobile device to my Gametime Unit?

1. Once you have connected your Gametime app to the unit go to the MUSIC Page.
2. Press the folder button to access your iTunes player on your device.

3. Select your song and select play.

How long does Gametime take to charge?

When first using the Gametime Scoreboard, charge the unit for 6 hours consecutively (or overnight) to maximize the battery charge. Once fully charged, the Gametime Unit will run for up to 4 hours at full use. The usage may vary depending on your Gametime settings. Subsequent charging time will be between 4 and 6 hours depending if unit is being recharged while OFF or charging while in use.

In what kind of weather can I use the Gametime portable scoreboard?

Weatherproofing allows you to take your Gametime in light rain or snow. You should know that the unit is not waterproof, so don’t go and submerge your Gametime in water.

Music loudness is very low, how to increase volume?

1. Increase the volume on the Gametime unit.
2. Increase the volume on the smart device playing the music.
3. Check your smart device settings to increase the volume.

Who should I to contact if I have any queries?

Troubleshooting

When playing music from AUX IN port, I am not able to Play/Pause, skip song or come back to previous track directly from the buttons located on top of the unit. Is this normal?

Yes this is normal. The Aux In port only relays music. If the smart device is connected to the Gametime unit via the USB Port, the unit will smart device will only charge. You still cannot control the music from the Gametime panel.

Why does the music streamed from the app cut off if a sound effect is played?

When the app was developed, we were advised that it is an iOS issue to restart the music. We are continuously working on the app and this is an issue we hope to resolve shortly. In the meantime, your options are to: 1. restart the music everytime a sound effect is played. 2. Set the sound effect setting to “Buzzer Only" or have another device connect via Aux in Cable for continous music and use the app for Sound Effects and/or Microphone. We’re working on it, so thanks for your patience.

The scoreboard doesn't recharge, how can I fix the problem?

  1. Try a factory reset (see user manual).
  2. Contact Gametime customer service at info@gametimescoreboard.com

Why won't my Gametime unit connect to the app?

  1. Make sure you are connected to the Gametime WiFi network. The default password is 88888888.
  2. Once connected, open the Gametime app and press the link button in the top left corner to connect to the Gametime Unit.
  3. If you still can’t connect, try restarting the app or device then try again.
  4. Conduct a factory reset (see User Manual) on the Gametime unit.
  5. Contact Gametime Customer Service.

One or more of the LED's aren't working, what do I do?

  1. You can contact customer support to inquire about spare or replacement parts.

Why doesn't my Gametime turn on?

  1. Make sure that the battery is charged. You will see a flashing battery indicator when it’s charging.
  2. Contact Gametime Customer Service.
